Here in New Zealand, the northerners may have the best view of the Leonids, with the best display predicted to be between about 3am and 5 am on November 19th. •How to find the Comet in the Early morning sky. Photos also here. Plus the Stardome map shows that the Comet will be directly between Venus and Achernar at 6.30am on June 19th. You'll need your binoculars! Note: Comet Linear C2001 A2 is NOT the same as Comet Linear C1999 S4. Linear comets are those discovered by the Linear team at the LINEAR (Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research) telescope in Socorro, New Mexico:•Linear A2 and Linear S4, and general comet info.
